Our school.

I study at school №1 in town Chadan from the first form. I like my school very much. Our school is a three-storeyed building, with  sport ground behind it.

On the groundfloor there are the classrooms for the primary-school pupils, workshops. There are all kinds of tools and machines in the workshops. The boys of our school have a woodwork room too. There is a room with manual works for girls. Teachers teach them how to cook, sew, and design clothes. If you enter the school and turn right you see a big light dining-room.

There is a gymnasium on the ground floor as well. Our physical training lessons are held there. Pupils like to go there even after the lessons, because it has a lot of sport equipment.

Our school has many classrooms. The classrooms are light and spacious. There are three large windows in each classroom with flower pots on the window sills. Each room has teacher’s table, pupils desks, blackboard, tables and charts on the wall, maps and portraits.

There are special classrooms for Chemistry, Physics, Biology, History, Geography, English, Russian, Tuvan.

781 students are taught in our school. The head teacher of the school is Kilik Nadezhda Kyzyl-oolovna.

I think that good students study in our school who will remember their school and their teachers. We are proud of our school and thank our teachers.

Now I want to remember a bit from the history of the school. In 1928 the elementary school was founded and became the centre of education of Daa Kozhuun. In 1941 it became 7th year school and in 1950 it formed as a secondary school.

In 1970 school №1 moved to the new building. The head teacher of this three-storeyed school was Kuular Zoya Sunduyevna. In 1965 on the initiative of the history teacher Oorzhak Sengmit Tamba-Surunovna the school museum was founded. Rich historic-territory and ethnic material was collected as the result of the leader’s and pupil’s hardwork.

Now some words about Michael Vasiliyevich Borbay-ool. He was a head teacher in 1982-1989 years. He was an excellent teacher of national education. He led the school for many years. During his work he paid a great attention to the development of tourist-territory work of physical training and sport. Thanks for his untired energy, the glory of our school knew in our Republic. His pupils defended the honour of our Republic in all union competitions in the cities Nalchic, Krasnodar. He led the club “Meridian”. The members of the club  went to many days walking do healthy way of life. Especial attention to boys was done by M.V. Borbay-ool. He helped many pupils in difficult situation gave father’s care and attention.
